DIG - a twisted take on products that bridge the gap between functional objects and art, reactionary pieces which are reflections of the world around us.

DIG is Design In Glasgow, a new collaborative project between 3 Glasgow based designers, Joachim King, John Galvin and Thomas Deeprose.
A shared interest in contemporary design brought them together. Each makes a unique contribution bringing experience from various fields. These include Product design, graphic design, cabinet making, boat building and illustration.

The collective are uncompromising, self sacrificing and obsessed with form, direction and message. You may dig it or doubt it; but you won’t forget it.

The first DIG exhibition will be held at Urban Outfitters, Buchanan St, Glasgow, from 23rd October – 20th November 2008. There will be a special preview event, open to the public on Thursday 23rd October between 5-8pm with an after show party, venue tbc.
